A white curtain is picked up by a camera that measures the distance of objects using an infrared system rather than light. The curtain is translated in real time as a silver 3D copy and reflected back onto itself, to merge the real object and its virtual copy. The curtain hangs in an overhead position so that it can only be viewed from a distance and is kept in motion by a fan.
